Inspiration behind the design:
"Rí Rá agus Ruaille Buaille!” has always been my favourite Irish phrase. It's the pure, joyful chaos of friends getting together, the buzz of a wild impromptu party. That's the spirit woven into these socks. They're the perfect pair for when it's time to be the life (and sole!) of the party.
About the winner: Lorna Mc Weeney is a Leitrim-born, Dublin-based designer with a penchant for thoughtful design, long bike rides, cool socks, and feline company. She brings curiosity and personality to everything she creates and believes the best ideas (like the best bike rides) come from taking the scenic route.
